Youth Involvement

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your good spirit lead me on a level path.  (Psalms 143:10)

Crossroads Youth Group

The purpose of Crossroads is to offer youth the opportunity to be in a positive atmosphere which fosters creative problem-solving and self-discovery.  In this group they do not feel pressured to engage in self destructive activities.  The leadership and staff continue to provide a program that builds self esteem, self confidence, self worth and spiritual awareness for all participants.  In order to achieve this objective, several key values were developed:  inclusiveness, acceptance, drug and alcohol free, youth planned (led and evaluated) and a balanced program of service to others, issues (education), spirituality (team building, identity search), and of course, fun!  As the crossroads is symbolic of a place in life where one makes a choice about which direction one will go, the program attempts to help youth make the best decisions possible.
