A floral bouquet from Bella Rosas Florist is provided each Sunday for $30. If you would like to remember a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion OR provide flowers in memory of a loved one, please contact the church office to sign up. After worship on that Sunday, you can either pick up the flowers or designate where to have them delivered (on the Island please!)
CHRISTMAS IN SEPTEMBER (and OCTOBER):
There’s good news to share! So far, CPC has contributed a total of $1,513 for the Christmas food packages for the Mustard Seed Academy’s students and staff. These funds have been sent to Elaine Griswold, Executive Director, who will be traveling to Uganda on October 12th with those funds to purchase cows and other supplies! And Sonia Wagner has banana cake for those who have contributed, so be sure to see her after 10:15 am service today to get your cake! But most importantly – it’s not too late to contribute to “Christmas in September” (and October) so be sure to do so today!
TIME TO THINK TURKEY:
Our annual Election Day Turkey Dinner will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm – PREPAID TAKE OUT/DELIVERY ONLY!! Tickets are $15 and available in the church office or after 10:15am worship. We need volunteers to make stuffing, cut pies, prepare cranberry sauce containers, and bag rolls. Also, we need help in the kitchen, as well as take out and delivery assistance. Monetary donations to offset the cost of food is also welcome. If you can help, please complete the enclosed form, sign up on the “Volunteer” sheet in Fellowship Hall or call the church office at (609) 266-7942. Office hours are Monday thru Thursday, 8:00 am until 12:00 pm - then - 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
THE FOOD PANTRY:
