DEATH, DYING & DEMENTIA SYMPOSIUM: We invite you to a Death, Dying & Dementia Symposium on Sunday, October 19th at 11:30 AM, following worship. Presenters include Sally C., Anne C., Judi C., and Pastor “K”, who will share insights through presentations, open Q&A, and resources for families. All are welcome.

ELECTION NIGHT TURKEY DINNER: Join us for an Election Night Turkey Dinner on Tuesday, November 4th. The menu includes hot turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, and dessert. Pre-purchase tickets by November 3rd, which are available Saturdays at the Thrift Store, Sunday and Mon. - Thur. mornings at the church office. This is a takeout-only event, but we will open Fellowship Hall for those who wish to stay and socialize. $10 each per ticket, Volunteers needed!

BRIG CHURCH FALL FEST: The Mission Committee is thrilled to invite the whole community to our Brigantine Church Fall Festival on Friday, October 24, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. This family-friendly event offering something for everyone! Guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy pizza, crafts, and pumpkin painting. Kids (and adults!) are encouraged to dress up for our costume parade, showcasing creativity and Halloween spirit.

HOLIDAYS ARE APPROACHING: The holiday season is quickly approaching, and we have some exciting opportunities to serve and celebrate together! If you’d like to volunteer for our Election Night Turkey Dinner, please use the sign-up sheet in Fellowship Hall. We’re also thrilled to be hosting this year’s Annual Christmas Bazaar on the first Friday in December, Community Presbyterian Church of Brigantine will be the host! If you’d like to lend a hand for this special event, please see the sign-up sheets in Fellowship Hall.

NEW MEMBERS CLASS: Interested in becoming a member of our church family? A New Members Class will begin on Sunday, October 5th at 9:00 AM in Pastor K’s office. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our church, our mission, and what it means to be a part of our community. Please see Pastor K!

8TH ANNUAL FRIENDS & FAMILY COAT DRIVE BEGINS: Carol Calcerano is once again collecting donations for organizations in need of warm clothing. This year, in addition to coats for adults, we are also collecting Navy Blue or White 3-Button Polo Shirts and Khaki Pants in school-age child sizes; you may donate complete uniforms or individual pieces for the children. For adults, please donate gently used or new coats, but no wool coats, please. Gently used coats may be dropped off at the Thrift Shop, while new clothing donations should be delivered to the Church Office. All donations will be distributed through several organizations serving those in need.

FAITH COMMUNITY NURSING: We are happy to announce that we will be offering blood pressure screenings on a regular basis after service! Please see Ann C., Judi C., or Connie C. Elevated blood pressure is often without symptoms & is a major risk factor for the development of stroke/ heart attack.
​
BIBLE STUDY: Our weekly Bible Study has resumed! We will be focusing on the women of the Bible; their stories, their faith, and the valuable lessons we can learn from their experiences. All are welcome to join us as we study together, share insights, and grow in faith. Bible study is held in room 10 at 9am every Sunday.

FOOD PANTRY: Our food pantry needs: CLEANING PRODUCTS & PERSONAL-HYGIENE PRODUCTS. Thank you!

VOLUNTEERING/JOIN A COMMITTEE: Looking to make a difference? Consider volunteering or joining one of our church committees! It's a great way to serve, connect, & contribute for more information, please see Sarah.

SUPPORT & RECOVERY: We are blessed to host weekly Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings in our church building. These groups provide a safe, welcoming, and confidential space for individuals seeking support on their journey to recovery. Narcotics Anonymous meets every Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:15 PM in Room 7. Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, also in Room 7.
