At Community Presbyterian Church of Brigantine, Rooted and Rising is more than a theme.. it’s a vision for who we are as a church and who we are called to become. Rooted in the love of Christ and rising in hope for the future, we seek to nurture a vibrant, welcoming young adult community where faith, service, and relationships grow together.

This season of life is filled with questions and transitions: finding your path in work, navigating relationships, starting families, or searching for deeper meaning. Too often, young adults in Brigantine and beyond feel there isn’t a space within the church that speaks to their real experiences. Right now, there are no active young adult faith groups, across any denomination, on our island. We believe it’s time to change that.

​Rooted and Rising seeks to create that space: a place to belong, to grow in faith, and to build friendships that last. Through gatherings, small groups, service projects, and open conversations about faith and life, we want to meet young adults right where they are. We’re not asking for perfection or prior church experience... we’re offering community, support, and the hope of Christ lived out together.​
