Dear Members and Friends,
Our first Sunday with live worship was enthusiastically enjoyed by a dozen folks at 8:00 AM and nearly 25 worshippers at 10:00 AM. Everyone was very good about wearing masks and maintaining social distance. We are continuing to work on “singing” as an issue and looking for guidance from the Presbytery. As long as we keep masks on and maintain a healthy distance from one another (at least 12 feet), I believe we remain well within the safety standards. Our maximum attendance can be 75, so we have room for growth. Why not join us for worship live next week on Sunday? Maybe we will grow so much we will need to make reservations!
Jim Walker has suggested that if we are going to ask folks to carry their bibles and hymnals to and from worship weekly, we need to provide a handy, easy-to-use bag (with the church logo on the side of course). Monday morning, Gina Herz included the idea while ordering grocery bags for the True Spirit Coalition. The bags should be available for everyone shortly. Thanks for the suggestion Jim and for help realizing the plan Gina.
Watch for news of the Mothers-Day Flower Sale. Call Sue Clark if you think you have time to lend a hand organizing all the flowers when they are delivered. Or perhaps you would like to be here at church to help with the sale. The sale is gaining popularity and it has not made it through Mother’s Day for some years now… so don’t wait too long to come to get flowers!

Everything we usually send in an envelope is available to you as an attachment to the email.
