Dear Members and Friends, It was wonderful to worship in church with so many people together! With nearly 40 people in attendance, it did not seem like we had much more room to be able to socially distance ourselves to comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines. It could be that our estimate of having a limit of 70 participants in our sanctuary at one time was too high. The Worship Team and Session Members took note and will be discussing alternatives this coming week. We also have gotten word that the recommendations from Presbyterian singing have NOT changed and that it is not encouraged, either with or without masks. So… we will need to keep re-thinking how we can worship together in a way that honors tradition while abiding by public health concerns. Your feedback in this process is essential to our life together in the community. Let session members know your concerns and observations. Remember, life will never go back to what it was, we are heading toward a new life together, one that you have a choice and responsibility to fashion. Many years ago, during a long-range planning exercise, we constantly reminded one another that… “Together We’ll Decide” how we will answer God’s call to be the church. On that day we worked on a five-year plan - in today’s context, a 6-month plan may be more practical! Watch for news of the Mother's Day Flower Sale. Call Sue Clark if you think you have time to lend a hand organizing all the flowers when they are delivered. Or perhaps you would like to be here at church to help with the sale. The sale is gaining popularity and it has not made it through Mother’s Day for some years now… so don’t wait too long to come to get flowers! You may be expecting a letter from our church this week… but it did not arrive by the U.S. Postal Service... look in your email! Check the spam folder if it's not there. Everything we usually send in an envelope is available to you as an attachment to the email. If you don’t like checking your email, simply go to our website (www.brigchurch.org) and everything is posted weekly there. Still, having a problem? Or you just like getting the letter? Let us know at the office by calling (609) 266-7942 and we will make sure you get information by snail mail.

Please join us LIVE on Sunday Mornings at 10:00 am for singing, and 10:15 am for worship. Use this link www.facebook.com/brigchurch.org.

If you haven’t joined us for “virtual worship”, give me a call - you need to join us! The CHURCH WEBSITE is www.brigchurch.org. My email is jrscotland@aol.com. My cell phone is (609) 457-2999.
